Speech Language Pathologist

Taylor Ballard is a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow with a passion for delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from DePaul University. Taylor is committed to advancing her expertise, having completed specialized training in the area of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, completing an advanced DTTC course, which further enhances her ability to work with children and individuals with speech and language disorders.

Taylor completed her school externship at our clinic, where she demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and a natural ability to connect with patients. She returned to join our team after graduation, eager to continue her work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Taylor is a strong advocate for interprofessional practice and thrives in collaborative settings, regularly working alongside other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to her patients.

Known for her compassionate approach, Taylor takes the time to build meaningful relationships with her patients, fostering trust and creating a positive therapeutic environment. Taylor incorporates the principles of conscious discipline to help foster a safe emotional learning environment for patients. Her patience and dedication to her work make her a valuable asset to our team and a trusted clinician for those in her care.
